I’d heard the song awhile ago and it was perfect for the TOUCH playlist, but it wasn’t until several weeks into starting the book that I actually saw the video. Can you say freaky? And what makes it more eerie is that in the original outline, Dez and Kale’s roles were reversed. Enjoy!

The town of Sleepy Hollow is the final resting place of Washington Irving, the author of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The village is located in Westchester County, New York and has a population of about 10k. Some say Washington Irving’s ghost haunts the cemetery.

The Friday Freak Out – Fiddler’s Bridge – Clinton Corners New York

Every Friday for the month of October, we’ll explore a different haunted location in New York

Fiddler’s Bridge Clinton Corners, New York. (This ones really cool cause it’s only about 15 minutes from where I live!)

The legend has it that way back in 1910, a fiddler lost his way in the mist, coming home from a Halloween party. He fell and was killed beneath the bridge. Now, on Halloween, if you happen to cross the bridge at midnight, you can hear the faint strains of the fiddler playing, whiling away his time to eternity.

So what about you? Are there any creepy, ghost ridden areas in your town?

In honor of Kody Keplinger’s new novel, The DUFF, YA Highway wants to know what’s in your DUFF kit!

Your kit must include the following:

1. Your favorite (very caloric!!!) drink
2. Your most comfy and old shoes
3. Movies featuring your favorite male actor
4. Your favorite junk food
5. Your most comfortable piece of clothing

1. Gloria Jean’s Frozen Cookies n Cream Mocha. Because when you’re feeling down, there’s nothing like frozen coffee and chocolate!

2. No shoes! Let those piggies fly free!

3. All 3 season s of Roswell. A little dated, but angsty Jason Behr and Brendan Fehr…winwin!

4. French fries…squishy hot sticks of happiness…

…with honey mustard…

5. Fluffy flannel pants and a tank. Whats more comforting than warm, fuzzy pants?
